Fine Motor Development
Neil Waddington
This series is a must for assisting the developmentally delayed, vision impaired or those students who are experiencing difficulty in using pencils, scissors and glue. The pictures throughout the books will develop logical thought and basic conceptual understanding by focusing the student’s attention in a two dimensional format. All three books boost motor and hand-eye-co-ordination and are photocopiable.
Book 1 Guiding – establishes definite visual paths for students to follow. Guiding lines assist the student to stay within the track space whilst also developing the sense of direction.
Book 2 Tracing – continues development from Book 1, with a focus on tracing skills.
Book 3 Trace & Paste - establishes definite visual line paths for students to follow. Dotted lines assist the student to stay on track whilst also developing the sense of direction prior to cutting. The pages provide a graded approach to developing cutting skills using scissors.
