This language pack consists of an instructions sheet and 5 sets of cards in a convenient plastic wallet. The sets are titled Same But Different (explanation of similarities and differences), Connections (explanation of associations), If (making predictions, understanding solutions and consequences), Before and After (explanation of cause and effect) and Thinga-a-me-jigs (using language to talk about or create an imaginary "thing").
Uses
The cards promote oral expression by encouraging the combination of language and thinking skills. These activities/games will promote discussion, fluent expression, imagination, as well as verbal reasoning skills.
Target Population
Students aged 4 to 12 years and older clients with language impairment.
