Ekwall/Shanker Reading Inventory 5th Edition James L. Shanker, Ward Cockrum   The fifth edition of the Ekwall/Shanker Reading Inventory (ESRI) updates and reorganizes this highly successful informal reading inventory. The  ESRI provides an expanded battery of 39 diagnostic tests in 11 different areas that enable the teacher-candidate, classroom teacher, special education teacher, or reading specialist to assess the full range of students' reading abilities.   The fifth edition provides for flexible assessment to match the needs of the individuals who will use it.
